The Surgi Nurse has over 15 years experience in the nursing industry. With experience in orthopaedics, general surgery, mental health, gynaecology, paediatrics, clinical facilitation and, leadership and management.

The Surgi Nurse is the perfect mentor, coach, teacher and support person to help nurses achieve their goals throughout their career. There is a real need for students and graduates to be better prepared to enter into the field and The Surgi Nurse is an affordable, passionate and loveable coach to help and grow with you.

Hello! My name is Rhiannon. I am a registered nurse and nurse unit manager of an orthopaedic ward in sunny Queensland. I made the decision to become a nurse towards the end of high school. I had always been told how caring and empathetic I was and, my family helped me decide. It was when my grandad passed away from lung cancer, and my grandma was diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease that I knew I wanted to help people. Not only do I have a passion for caring for people, but I am drawn to educating and mentoring our future nurses.

My aim, as The Surgi Nurse, is to challenge, inspire and empower all nurses to achieve their goals and explore their careers. I can promote an environment that is supportive and nurturing to develop confidence, provide guidance, motivation, emotional support and role-modelling.
